On Saturday, June 9, Bethesda Green hosted its third annual Solar & Green Home Expo. The event drew 27 local green business vendors from Montgomery County and the surrounding metro area.
Nearly 200 attended the event throughout the day. Participating businesses offered green services in the areas of solar energy, geothermal, composting, landscaping, home cleaning products, interior decorating, remodeling, building, energy audits, wind energy, real estate, lighting and sound systems, and much more.
Workshops were held throughout the day for packed audiences who were eager to learn more about green home remodeling; solar installation; energy audits; county, state and local tax benefits and incentives; and geothermal heating and cooling.
