This grand opening celebration for the new Carousel was held on Saturday, May 31. The Carousel is the newest addition to RIO Washingtonian’s lakefront attractions, which include paddleboats, a trackless train and playground, all situated along its boardwalk and lake.
Gaithersburg-based Adventist HealthCare (AHC) has entered into an exclusive agreement to be the presenting sponsor of The Carousel and the official healthcare partner of RIO Washingtonian.
To celebrate the sponsorship, a graduate of Shady Grove Adventist Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) was there to officially “open” the Carousel at the event.
