Start The Shake Shack Rumors — Upon opening a two-level Shake Shack location Monday in Union Station, CEO Randy Garutti said he has his eyes on locations outside of D.C., including Bethesda. There are no concrete plans yet. Garutti also mentioned Reston and Pentagon City as possible locations for a new Shake Shack. There are four locations in D.C. Tiger Talks Comeback — It was Tiger Woods press conference day on Tuesday at Congressional Country Club, where Woods and his foundation are hosting the Quicken Loans National. Woods answered questions about his recovery from back surgery and said that he probably would not have come back this week if not for his foundation’s role in putting on the tournament. MCPS Loses Sex Education Scripts — The Board of Education last week approved changes to the school system’s sexual education program that will mean doing away with the lesson scripts that were introduced in 2007. Teachers say the changes will allow them more flexibility with room for feedback after a yearlong review process. The changes also will move the topic of sexual orientation from eighth grade health classes to seventh grade health classes. [The Gazette]
