The restaurant poised to replace the Hamburger Hamlet and an Italian restaurant planning to open in Westfield Montgomery mall’s new dining terrace have applied to the county for liquor licenses.
Not Your Average Joe’s, an American cuisine chain with locations in Gaithersburg and Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Virginia, applied for a liquor license for its planned location at 10400 Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda. The site formerly housed Hamburger Hamlet, which closed in December 2013.
Also applying for a liquor license is Naples Ristorante. The Italian restaurant is moving into a location on the first level of Westfield Montgomery’s new $90 million dining terrace expansion.
The pizza and southern Italian concept is managed by Patina Restaurant Group, which runs more than 50 restaurants, most of which are in Southern California and New York City.
The two restaurants are scheduled to appear Dec. 4 before the Montgomery County Board of License Commissioners.
