There’s a new taqueria in Bethesda.

Fish Taco opened in Wildwood Shopping Center on Old Georgetown Road last week.

The new location is two doors down from Balducci’s and the interior has a beach-like feel with whitewashed benches and blue and sea green accents. Aside from the eponymous fish tacos, the fast-casual restaurant also offers salads, burritos and rice bowls that are served with a variety of ingredients such as carnitas, chicken, shrimp, steak and vegetables.  Drinks include Mexican sodas, draft beers and frozen margaritas.

The restaurant is the second Fish Taco to open in the area; the first opened in 2013 in Cabin John. A third is on its way, which will also be in Bethesda, at the former City Burger spot on Wisconsin Avenue. That location is expected to open this spring.

Francis Namin, who operates Food, Wine & Co. and Don Pollo Charbroiled Chicken in Bethesda, also co-owns Fish Taco.
