A fire broke out in a Chevy Chase house early Wednesday morning, according to a fire official.

Automatic alarms alerted firefighters to the blaze in the 3200 block of Woodhollow Drive in Chevy Chase at about 2:30 a.m., according to Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service spokesman Pete Piringer.

Firefighters found the fire in a bedroom and quickly extinguished it, Piringer wrote on Twitter. No one was injured, but the fire caused about $75,000 in damage.

The cause of the fire was undetermined, according to Piringer.
