Montgomery County police on Wednesday released a surveillance video of two men who used a credit card that had been stolen a woman’s car in Rockville.
A woman parked her car in the 4200 block of Flower Valley Drive on Dec. 11. The next morning, she returned to find her car was ransacked and her credit card and other items were missing, according to police.
Detectives discovered that the credit card was used at a 7-Eleven on Professional Drive in Gaithersburg at 4:30 a.m. that day. The two men were captured by video surveillance in the store.
Police believe the men might be involved in other thefts from vehicles in the area, according to a press release.
Police have asked anyone with information to call 240-773-5500 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 866-411-TIPS (8477) for a reward of up to $10,000 if information leads to an arrest.
