Property was taken from four vehicles on Duvall and Brookside drives and River and Wapakoneta roads during the week. No use of force was reported.

Home burglary
Property was taken from a house in the 4100 block of Aspen Street between 10 p.m. Jan. 8 and 8 p.m. Jan. 9. There were no signs of forced entry.
Thefts from vehicles
Cash and property were taken from multiple vehicles on Cummings Lane, Leland Street and Rollingwood, Chevy Chase Lake and Donnybrook drives. Forced entry was reported in multiple thefts.
Potomac
House burglaries
Two house burglaries occurred at the same house in the 13400 block of Cleveland Drive. Keys were taken when the house was broken into during the early morning of Jan. 10. Then at 2:17 p.m. Jan. 12, the keys were used to enter the house and steal property. Police arrested a 59-year-old man from Gaithersburg.
Rockville
Armed robbery
Two men, one displaying a weapon, stole cash from a man in the 15200 block of Shady Grove Road at about 5:15 p.m. Jan. 15. One man appeared to be about 25, the other between 29 and 35.
Home burglary
A safe, cash, a checkbook and personal documents were stolen from a house in the 300 block of Bradley Avenue between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 11. Police don’t know how the burglar got inside.
Intent to distribute cocaine
Police arrested a 41-year-old man in the 900 block of King Farm Boulevard at noon on Jan. 13 and charged him with possession of cocaine and intent to distribute. He was also charged with failing to identify himself to an officer and obstructing a police investigation.
Theft from locked bedroom
Cash was stolen from a locked bedroom in the 500 block of Woodburn Road between Jan. 9 and 15.
Silver Spring
Apartment burglaries
Property was taken from an apartment in the 1400 block of Blair Mill Road between Jan. 12 and 15. There were no signs of forced entry.
After a resident lost her keys, property was stolen from her apartment in the 8800 block of Colesville Road between Jan. 10 and 12. There were no signs of forced entry.
Armed robbery
A man and another person stole property from a man near Fenton Street and Thayer Avenue in the early morning of Jan. 13. One robber had displayed a weapon.
Attempted armed robbery
A man displayed a weapon and tried to take cash from two adults near Forest Glen Road and Burnett Avenue at 7:35 p.m. Jan. 11.
Thefts from vehicles
Cash and property were taken from multiple vehicles on Bonifant, Ripley, Newell and Cameron streets; East West Highway; Colesville and Piney Branch roads; and Eastern Avenue during the week. Forced entry was used in four thefts. A 19-year-old man from Oxon Hill and an 18-year-old man from Washington, D.C., were arrested in connection with the Cameron Street theft.
Cash and property were stolen from multiple vehicles on Pershing and Hildarose drives, Dartmouth Avenue, Westview Court, Roeder and Stockton roads and Evergreen Street. Two cars were broken into.
