Follain, a beauty product store, is opening this summer on Bethesda Row.

The store is set to open in mid-July at 4810 Bethesda Ave., suite 24, the company announced.

Follain has two stores in Boston and has run a series of pop-up shops in Washington, D.C. The Bethesda store will be its first in the area.

The boutique store offers skincare, makeup, hair and body products, and the company stresses that its items are selective and made with ingredients that aren’t harmful to people or the environment.

Tara Foley, founder of Follain, said in a statement the company is aiming to improve the beauty industry.

“From the start, it has been our intent to bring our stores to communities that are seeking the industry change that our company stands for,” Foley, a D.C. native, wrote, “so we are beyond excited to share our mission and curated selection of the best clean beauty products with the people of Bethesda.”
