Teen charged with bringing stolen handgun to Paint Branch High School

Police said Elijah C. Nyamekye, 17, of Silver Spring, was charged as an adult with possessing a stolen handgun at the Burtonsville school after he attempted to use a false name to enter the building. He fled from the school after an encounter with security and police later arrested him after spotting him walking on Briggs Chaney Road at Columbia Pike.
