Montgomery County detectives are searching for a man who reportedly stole a credit card from a purse in a Bethesda workspace.

Authorities say the man wearing a purple T-shirt and ball cap forced his way into Tribalco LLC at about 9 a.m. June 8. Inside the 4915 St. Elmo Ave. business, he checked out several different work areas, taking a credit card from an unattended purse that he found, police reported.

The man charged items on the stolen credit card at stores in Bethesda, D.C. and Landover Hills.

Police on Wednesday released surveillance photographs of the man, hoping that someone could help identify him.
