Nook, a local chain of children’s play spaces in Northern Virginia, is adding a “pop up” location in Bethesda Row that will open Nov. 29.
The children’s play space, which is in Fairfax and Arlington, Va., will open at 7025 Arlington Road Nov. 29, Federal Realty Investment Trust, which owns the space , announced Tuesday. It will stay in that location for a year, according to a press release.
Nook offers “open play” sessions for children younger than 5, with structured activities such as music, movement and cooking, according to its website. There are classes for play groups of babies and toddlers.
The Bethesda store, according to the press release, will carry a variety of toys and gifts from “smaller, digitally native brands.” Nook presents a family holiday music show Dec. 7 and 8, and in early 2020, will expand to include open play and other types of programming that the other locations feature.
The store will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
