Nando’s Peri-Peri, a restaurant chain specializing in South African-Portuguese cuisine, will relocate its Bethesda Row restaurant at 4839 Bethesda Ave. early next year, the company confirmed.
Sepanta Bagherpour, Nando’s chief marketing officer, wrote in a statement to Bethesda Beat that Nando’s lease is up in January 2022 and the company is “in the final stages of identifying our new home nearby.”
Bagherpour wrote that Nando’s plans to relocate within Bethesda.
The current Bethesda location will stay open until the relocation, Bagherpour said in the statement.
Nando’s opened its Bethesda Row location in 2011, replacing Chicken Out. The chain also has locations in Wheaton, Silver Spring, Gaithersburg and North Bethesda, according to its website.
