A rollover crash in the Fairland area killed a man early Monday morning, Montgomery County police said.
Police got a call for a crash on Fairland Road in the area between Serpentine Way and Tamarack Road around 1:46 a.m., police posted on Twitter. In another post, police wrote that a man had died.
Police did not identify the man who died.
Montgomery County Fire & Rescue spokesman Pete Piringer posted on Twitter that two people were ejected in a rollover crash. One died of his injuries and the other was taken to the hospital with injuries considered priority 2, the second most serious type.
Fairland Road was closed Monday morning between Serpentine Way and Tamarack Road while police investigated.
