Montgomery County and Rockville officials will hold a ceremony remembering those who died 20 years ago.

It will be at 11 a.m. at Courthouse Square Park at Maryland Avenue and West Montgomery Avenue in Rockville on Friday.

The Kensington Volunteer Fire Department will host an event on Saturday at 10625 Connecticut Ave. in Kensington at 11 a.m.

There will be multiple speakers, a presentation by a color guard and music. It will be live streamed here.

• Bethesda resident, victim fund leader to speak to synagogue

Ken Feinberg of Bethesda, who has gained national attention for his work to secure settlements and money for victims of traumatic events, including 9/11 victims, will speak to a synagogue in Chevy Chase.

Feinberg, first special master of the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund, will speak with Rabbi Corey Helfand and Ohr Kodesh Congregation members on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. about 9/11 and his work. Helfand will lead a Q&A session, too.
