Diane learned about the importance of excellent customer service at the age of 12 while working in her dad’s store in Upstate New York. She watched how he interacted with customers, listening and responding to their needs. Those early experiences shaped her professional life.
She settled in the Washington, DC area after graduate school in New York City and spent four years on the US Senate Committee on Small Business and Senate Human Resources Committee. Her focus was listening and being responsive to legislative matters on behalf of the Chairman of the Committee.
A change in leadership prompted Diane to transition to the field of commercial real estate. She earned a Rookie of the Year award and was consistently a top producer in DC’s fast-growing downtown for 15 years. Diane advised The World Bank, Goldman Sachs, The Aspen Institute, and numerous law firms. Her clients identified her top traits as being trustworthy, effective, and knowledgeable.
A family relocation across the country taught Diane the invaluable role of a real estate agent. The move would have been chaos without the agent’s guidance. Having the agent’s her input on the market, neighborhoods, commute, and much more made all the difference. While raising her daughters following her family’s move, Diane discovered a passion for coaching, where she returned to her roots in supporting small business owners and received her professional coaching certification through the International Coaching Federation.
Diane applies to real estate the skills she acquired as a certified professional coach. She listens to her clients, helps them clarify their needs, identifies potential obstacles and advises them every step of the way.
