Looking for a fun way to spend Valentine’s Day? Head to the Music Center at Strathmore for an evening with Broadway star Mandy Patinkin, also known as the actor who portrays Inigo Montoya in “The Princess Bride,” and his wife, actress and writer Kathryn Grody, who will regale the audience with family stories and the secrets to a 44-year marriage.

The show was created after the couple’s son, Gideon, began filming them during the COVID-19 pandemic and posting their interactions on TikTok in a series called “Uninterrupted Togetherness.” Gideon moderates the show.

Car crashes into Gaithersburg apartment building Tuesday morning

A vehicle crashed into a wall of an apartment building around 7:15 a.m. near King James Way, off of West Diamond Avenue in Gaithersburg, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services. No one was injured, but significant structural damage to the building caused six people to be evacuated, according to MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer. [WUSA]

No injuries reported after fire in Olney Grille restaurant

An Olney restaurant likely will be closed temporarily after a fire broke out Tuesday afternoon in its kitchen. The fire started behind the grill around the ductwork at the Olney Grille at 3464 Olney-Laytonville Road, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services. Customers and staff evacuated the building safely and no injuries were reported. [DC News Now]
