Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) canceled all school-sponsored activities and events on Saturday as the county is projected to get 4 to 6 inches of snow Friday night into Saturday morning.
In addition, all athletic events, academic programs and field trips, as well as community use of public facilities in schools, are canceled, MCPS announced.
With schools closed for President’s Day on Monday, MCPS said “all resources will be employed in preparing school facilities to be ready for opening on Tuesday, Feb. 20.”
