Montgomery County police responded to a report of a shooting Thursday afternoon outside of the Red Lobster restaurant in Rockville, according to police radio communications.

Around 1:34 p.m., officers dispatched to the 15700 block of Shady Grove Road for the report of shots fired and located “evidence of a shooting” at the scene, Montgomery County police Officer Carlos Cortes said in a statement late Thursday afternoon. No injuries were reported, he said.

Earlier, police officers said over the radio that they were searching for multiple suspects, including one armed with a handgun.

No suspects are currently in custody, Cortes said.
