A person was robbed at gunpoint outside the IPIC Theaters in Pike & Rose around 10:45 p.m.  Thursday, according to Montgomery County police radio communications. The IPIC Theaters close at 10 p.m. on Thursdays.

Officers responded to a parking garage in the 1800 block of Grand Park Ave. in North Bethesda for a report of an armed robbery, Montgomery County police Officer Carlos Cortes said Friday in an email statement.

A man and woman were walking to their car in the garage when they were approached by four armed suspects in a vehicle, Cortes said. Police said over the radio that it was a White Infiniti, and that the suspects were wearing ski masks and possessed handguns.

Three suspects got out of the car and demanded property from the two victims. After the victims handed over the property, the suspects drove away, according to the statement. The responding officers said over the radio that a victim’s iPhone was stolen and they were trying to track it.

This is an ongoing investigation, according to Cortes.
