Montgomery County police responded to a shooting at Wisteria Drive and Misty Meadow Terrace in Germantown at approximately 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, according to police spokesperson Shiera Goff.

One man was found shot with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Goff. The victim was transported to Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, according to radio transmissions.

Two houses on Misty Meadow Terrace were also struck by bullets, according to radio transmissions. Wisteria Drive and Misty Meadow Terrace are in the same area as S. Christa McAuliffe Elementary School.

As of 6 p.m., police were searching for the shooter, according to Goff.

The suspect is reportedly wearing a ski mask, glasses and gloves and left in a silver Honda four-door car, according to the radio transmissions.
