Dr. Paymaan Christopher Tavakoli, born and raised in Potomac, MD, is honored to be voted as a top dentist in General Dentistry. Dr. Tavakoli believes that dentistry is the perfect blend of art, medicine and science which is one of the main reasons he pursued dentistry after graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Neurobiology. Dr. Tavakoli then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at VCU followed by a year of residency training at Penn State St. Joseph Medical Center.
Dr. Tavakoli strongly believes in establishing optimal dental health for his patients while saving teeth and restoring smiles that last a lifetime. His top priority is to provide each patient with stellar clinical expertise and compassion. With his passion for dentistry and attention to detail, Dr. Tavakoli motivates his patients to recognize the importance of dental health and help achieve their dental goals.
In 2023, Dr. Tavakoli will be receiving his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry which recognizes doctors who are committed to the practice of dentistry and quality patient care, as evidenced by their ongoing involvement in continuing education.
